Goldring Centre for fitness and recreational activities.
Community members and university faculty and staff with a Joint Membership Plan also have access to the centre.
Intercollegiate and intramural teams also use this spectacular new sport and exercise facility for practices and competitions.
What is the Goldring Centre for High Performance Sport?
The Goldring Centre for High Performance Sport is a multi-storey sport and exercise facility housing a 2,000-seat, internationally-rated field house for basketball, volleyball and other court sports, a state-of-the-art strength and conditioning centre, fitness studio, sport medicine clinic and research and teaching laboratories.
The building has been designed to welcome anyone from the university and local community who is interested in physical activity and sport - from students, faculty and staff looking for a great place to work out, to intercollegiate, intramural and international-level student-athletes coming to train, practice and compete.
The facility is also used for academic programs, children’s programs and camps. Student and community groups can rent space within the facility for special events.
